Upper Marlboro, MD Promotions: Klimaxx Entertainment Click on thumbnails to see the big picture/entire gallery This year for DC Carnival, TJJ get mad love from everybody; from promoters to partygoers, DJs to MC's ... you name it, we got the love. But at the After DC Carnival Cool Down Pool Party, the love was just tremendous!! From the time Mister Benz and I reach the gate, gateman link we up one time, "TJJ allyuh good ... go through ... like allyuh self!!" Now this annual pool party is more like an appreciation for the patrons and supporters of Klimaxx Entertainment. Kelvin and Spice ... thanks for everything. So we enter the yard and the set up was ideal: Bar to we right, food to we left, pool in the middle, DJ booth in the back, and sexy people everywhere. And by the way, the location, was a nice back yard spot in Upper Marlboro, Maryland. And for another year, the Corn Soup man from New York make a special trip down to DC just for this event. Allyuh want boss Corn Soup? Check out that Rastaman when allyuh get chance! As always, Giselle D Wassi One was more that visible. You could hear her from time to time on the microphone interchanging with DJ Spyda, who both accompanied DJ Hazzard while at play. Giselle, we love ya to darlin! Thanks for looking out for we. Doh mention how she have JoyJuice blushing in de party ... talking bout is ah while she ent see ah sexy Rasta!! Well I like mehself. I am still smiling!! Now, for some reason, when me and Mister Benz rolling ... is like we bodies need an alignment cause wherever there is food, we end up drifting to. This time the food was to the left ... so we drifting to the left. As for the food .... barbecue chicken, fry rice, salad, curry chicken and more - all on point. No wonder we were driftin! After ah little chow down on ah best pot, we realized people were flowing in by the numbers, including Back to Basics and Trini Mike now arriving from SHINE. Large up everytime! Probably the highlight of the evening was when ah big ting take ah lil' wine on Atlanta's DJ Stephen. We have to give that the Flava Flav .... wwwwwooooooooowwwwwww. If allyuh ever see DJ Stephen, and see how small he is, yuh would understand. Nevertheless, he handle it right up. Kudos to you my friend! Sad to say, but this After Carnival Cool Down Party sort of wraps up the weekend of events ... with everyone reminiscing about the weekend ... Machel Montano Live, The Road Jump Up, Shine .... everything. It's also a good party catch up with old frens (and more new ones) ... chilling around the pool, liming and having a good ole time.
