Great music, great food and great people are just a few words that can be used to describe the scene at Fiesta Plaza, Movie Towne when Trinidad and Tobago’s very own Sean Bartholomew took to the stage for two sensational concerts; “Classic Rock on Piano” and “Just Marley” on July 15th and 16th respectively. These concerts were held as part of the Bmobile Hot Ticket Summer 2010.

Born in St. Ann’s (T&T) and currently residing in the US, Sean Bartholomew aka Adrian Batholomew is a musician, composer, producer, and songwriter. He has been inducted to Trinidad's Classical Music Hall of Fame for his achievements as a child prodigy and has been performing live in the Caribbean and the United States for more than twenty years.

“Classic Rock on Piano” gave us Sean on piano and guitar, performing classic 70’s and 80’s hit songs such as Elton John’s “Rocket Man” and Journey’s “Don’t Stop Believing” to a notable crowd turnout which included IMIJ and Co. lead vocalist Michelle Xavier and songstress Cathy Ella. Sean gave a special greeting to his loyal fans at the start and interacted with the gathering while he crooned one great song after another.

Soca and country lovers were not to be left out as Sean did an unexpected acoustic rendition of Scrunter’s “Jumbie” and a duet performance of Lady Antebellum’s “Need You Now”. Modern rock favourites by John Mayer and Coldplay were also covered proving the versatility of Mr. Bartholomew’s musical style.

“Jus Marley” was an ideal follow up to “Classic Rock on Piano” creating a seamless fusion of rock and reggae. Sean sang a medley of Marley hits including “Waiting in Vain and “Who the Cap Fits”. He was accompanied by two stunning female back up singers and his friends, who did not hesitate to lend their voices to his renditions. Sean captivated the audience with his stage presence and distinct flavour which he marinates into each song he performs. The vibe was right and the setting was reminiscent of an intimate gathering of friends and family.

During these two concert events which were staged free of charge for the public, four lucky customers won vouchers for the Trader Jacks and J. Malones restaurants via the Hot Ticket Summer Text to Win promotion.

Fiesta Plaza’s Events and Entertainment Manager Heathcliff West expressed his joy at being able to showcase this unique T&T talent in his 3rd Movie Towne performance. When asked about the events’ sponsor Bmobile he stated, “We have a fantastic relationship with them and this is not our first partnership. When you look at all the cultural and sporting events in both Trinidad and Tobago, Bmobile is always at the forefront when it comes to sponsorship. They certainly play their part in corporate assistance”.
