    Carnival 2020 in any island territory is closer than we think! And Benje gives us an excellent jumpstart! The Bahamas based St. Lucian Soca Artiste presents Rum Junkie off of the Soca Syrup Riddim.

November 27th, 2019 - He’s challenging the norm, challenging the sound of Soca even, but humbly, Soca’s new kid on the block, Lucrativ, is making it abundantly clear that he’s in it for the long haul. Back to back music releases in less than two months, cements this relatively new artiste in a place many often hesitate to stand- often too timid to show up those who’ve run the game for many, many years.

    Mr Killa is now the first Grenadian artist with 100k followers on Instagram. In October 2019, Killa became the first Grenadian artist to become Instagram verified gaining the “Blue Tick” that essentially legitimises ones status as a bonafide celebrity.

    The popular artist has had a year of many firsts in 2019 including becoming the first non-Trinidadian to win the International Soca Monarch title.

    Emotions ran high when the entertainment community heard that Skinner Park was going to be renovated. While happy that improvements were coming, the thought of not having the space for Carnival 2020 was tough.

    Nostalgia reigned as old memories and unforgettable performances were bandied about; in the end though, one unchangeable conclusion came to the forefront.

    With a pulsating primal opening refrain, Akeem "Preedy" Chance is rampaging into the Carnival 2020 season once again. This time he does it alongside Precision Productions, in a number built to reach deep inside every Soca lover and frenetically unleash their too-long dormant festival spirits.

October 29th, 2019 - A fresh face, engaging vibe and new musical energy; the newest female entertainer on the soca scene is as beautiful as she is talented, and while this is a precedence set by Trinidad and Tobago- the land of beauty and talent, there’s no denying that this young entertainer is ready to put in the work.

    If there is one thing we know to be true after our Audio Essentials Workshop, it is that music is the language of our souls. It tells our stories, brings our dreams to life, and if we let it, it can be the path by which we change our world. This experience was a welcome reminder to the team, and served as the perfect incentive for Precision Production's very first riddim for the upcoming season.

    Port-of-Spain, Trinidad. October 16th, 2019 - Barbados continues to make its presence felt when it comes to Caribbean entertainment. In the world of Soca, a genre that continues to grow, Barbados’ Kirk Brown is pushing hard ahead of Trinidad and Tobago’s Carnival 2020 season. The DJ who’s proven his worth as an artiste, having shared the stage with big names like Rihanna, Shaggy and NeYo, is bent on penetrating T&T’s carnival market next year, promising to bring a fresh, vibrant appeal, that’ll sit perfectly in the mix.

    Port-of-Spain, Trinidad. September 5th, 2019 - Hold on tight, it’s about to get wild. New soca music, complete with a fresh face and unbridled vibe, emerges this September. No mater how you look at it, the evolution of the soca game continues to flourish and by all accounts, the young trendsetters have upped the anti, delivering smash hit singles consistently.
