Sanjay and Sayeed Rocked Mas Camp


It was indeed double the fun at Mas Camp last Friday with DJs Sanjay and Ryan Sayeed at the turntable. Sanjay set the tone with new soca hits and the all-time favourites. The revelers jumped and wined in the venue that was decorated with palm trees to create the beach ambience. Even as the tempo and excitement increased a smooth change over saw DJ Ryan at the control.

The royal couple of soca, Bunji Garlin and Fayann Lyons, will be back on the Mas Camp stage for the final Bacchanal Friday on 18 March 2016! Favourites of Jamaican soca fans, the dynamic duo is guaranteed to raise the excitement level by several bars as they get pulses racing, feet stomping and waists wining.

The Bacchanal Jamaica team will turn up the vibes this Friday as Soca takes on Dancehall to keep the fans jumping, feteing and whining. Creating the hype will be DJ Private Ryan the master of soca and representing the best of Jamaica will beCreep of Chromatic.

Bacchanal Friday (Feb 26th) Cancelled


Bacchanal; Director Charmaine Franklin has advised that the upcoming Bacchanal Friday (26 February 2016) has been cancelled in keeping with a directive from the police that no permit would be issued.

Bacchanal Presents "Masquerade"


Masquerade is the theme for the next Bacchanal Friday when revelers are encouraged to wear a piece of costume from a previous carnival. Patrons with general admission tickets, who are wearing costumes, will be rewarded with two complimentary drink chits for Appleton and Smirnoff upon entry to the Mas Camp.

With the crowd jumping to the music of DJs Smoke, Richie RAS and Taj it was clear that the carnival baton had passed smoothly from Trinidad to Jamaica and all are now focused on the journey to the finish line – the road march on Sunday 3 April. According to Michael McMorris, Bacchanal Jamaica director, the first bacchanal Friday, which took place last Friday at the Mas camp, “lived up to our expectations.
